Create Your Own Epic - Academic

In groups in 2 or 3 you will be creating your own short epic story.

Create a main character, include a tragic flaw, multiple characteristics and don't be afraid to put your hero in dangerous situations.

Create a setting, think about including races common in fantasy such as dragons, fairies, elves, goblins, trolls, etc.

Write your epic story, minimum one page long in (mostly) rhyming lines! You can have a few lines that do not rhyme in order for them to fit your story.

Create a rough draft, make sure you go through it together and edit, then get a piece of computer paper and write your final.

Once you are finished your writing, add a drawing of a map of your setting on your paper!
